A Norvell Note: Words and Meditations
November 1, 2026 – Vol. 30 No. 40
“May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.” (Psalm 19:14)
I hope you’ll keep those words close this week—and every week, really, but especially this week.
This week may bring challenges that test your thinking and tempt you to say something you might later regret. Take a moment to let your words and heart reflect what is pleasing to the Lord.
You may hear something difficult that breaks your heart and causes you to question your faith. In those moments, remember to let your words and heart reflect what pleases the Lord.
Let’s practice.
“May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.”
“May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.”
“May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.”
Keep saying those words. Whatever happens or comes your way, hold them close and keep saying, “May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.”
I love you.
